Brett Murray

Brett Murray operates Australia's leading youth motivation organisation , DARE:OPS. His work with young people - guiding them through the challenges of extreme expeditions - has been the subject of several television documentaries. Brett's motivational success draws on his own struggles and victories in life. He overcame underconfidence and impediments in his youth to succeed in five sports at representative level (simming, boxing, surf life-saving, rugby league and surfing). he has worked with young people since 1990 and is now a widely recognised public speaker with sporting groups and school students. Brett, who is married with three children and lives in Sydney, is also the author of I Dare Ya!.
